Predicting major backlash from this sickening communique and an even greater landslide for the incumbents than might otherwise have been the case. Sorry, Mr. Lehmann–with your wild accusations burning holes in our mailboxes you have seriously overestimated this town’s taste for our very own National Inquirer and lost the respect of anyone with half a brain. If the town has any wisdom you will soon be removed from the Zoning Board (did everybody know this guy was the chairman?) and banned from any such group for life. Way to go, accusing the Catholic Church and Jamboree of local corruption! I would not want someone with such an appalling lack of judgment to be ruling on anything related to my own property or anyone else’s. Go home and stew in your own miserable juices with your low-life Aronsohnian pals.
Hey, I got that communication in my mailbox. I wish to comment on one accusation, the parking garage. Mayor Knudsen did not flip flop on whether to build a garage. She was adamant about not wanting the garage to go over the Hudson street lot. Deputy Mayor Sedon during a public council meeting said he remembered a design plan that fit the footprint of the lot and was not a choice of the previous council. Knudsen and other council members examined the design and liked it. .
Hey, I vehemently spoke and wrote letters about not wanting a garage at all. But I have no quarrel with how they came to the decision.
Willet and Harwin want a larger garage. So I will vote for Knudsen and Sedon. Oh, Sedon said he spoke to the church and store keepers surrounding Hudson St. and they were satisfied to have the smaller garage built.
If a negative, lying, mail communication had gone out when Aronsohn was running Aronsohn would have tried to prosecute the sender. Remember how he tried to prosecute the sender of a picture of a huge garage, before the garage vote.
Can Mr. Lehman be prosecuted, sued , for his lying communication? Perhaps he can. It was full of lies, libel, slander.
The mayor should file a libel suit against Lehmann, Hauck and anyone else who forwarded the email. Let’s make the Mayors job easy by posting the names here. I got my copy from Gwen Hauck and I’m happy to provide a copy as evidence. Hauck forwarding the email could place her in the middle of a lawsuit for showing a reckless disregard for the truth. She was a sitting council person at the time and it’s clear the discussion did not include police or fire department.
Lehmann is subject to the same standard.
it would be perfect if aronsohn forwarded the email or participated in the mailer. Folks this is a serious..
