“I don’t understand why Fauci’s face needs to be displayed everywhere like this guy is some kind of a Messiah. What makes him such a genius? Don’t we have other people with experience who could do this job? It is Trump who picks people like Fauci and then through idiocies he speaks makes these people look good and more important than they really are. Fauci needs to disappear for the comment about masks a couple of months ago. That comment alone could be responsible for many infections and deaths. And the excuse he is using is just insulting. He lost that little respect I had for him.”
It’s the mainstream media’s attempt to present him as the face of science, being ignored by evil Trump. TDS is big business in the mainstream media and on top of that, we’re in an election year.
Just remember all the big stores that stayed open or on the stock exchange. They have so many lawyers you have no idea. It’s all about business making money.
Would you rather have Jeff Voigt and his exhausting diatribes on Covid? Only a couple of weeks and we will be free from this self proclaimed expert asshole.
3 reasons:
1. He’s a career bureaucrat who loves spotlight and has worked on connections and exerting influence all his life to be selected for this role…
2. … by a combination of pharma interests and technocratic elites who use him to promote expensive drugs and as part of a campaign to stay in power in spite of the will of the American public.
3. Trump put him exactly where he wants him. Trump was elected with 1 objective only – deconstruction of the failed administrative state. Opposing him are those benefiting from the current arrangement where “specialists,” such as administrators and judges, are in charge with no accountability to the American people. Trump can’t just remove them – he doesn’t have such power. He needs overwhelming public support. Over the last 3 years his strategy has been very consistent: give these specialists a spotlight and have their utter lack of common sense and corrupt incompetence be on display to the American public.
Needless to say, the technocrats have obliged. Fauci is just the latest in the long list of failures, illustrating how broken our institutions are. And how urgently Americans need to reform them away from technocrats and towards local elected interests answerable to the people.
Anon above. This doesn’t make sense. So Trump picks bureaucrats for these key roles in order to discredit them? If so then he is undermining himself. He is dying to make friends in the media and more, it’s just that they hate him so much. Why try to please them with people like Fauci? It would make sense if we he had a 10 yr mandate but he may be out of the WH in a few months and Fauci will still be there to continue to fk up the americans. It would be so tragic and comic at the same time if Trump would fk up against Biden. I won’t put it past him though.
Fauci has been a government bureaucrat since aids
Deer, I disagree. Trump built his whole campaign on defying the mainstream. What evidence is there that’s he’s dying to make friends with the media who are prompting the mainstream?
A second point on selecting Fauci – who else is Trump to pick? He’s surrounded by technocrats. They share the same feature – narrow-minded, self-interested and part of the club. Trump didn’t pick Fauci. The swamp did. Trump just gave him a mic and pointed cameras at him.
Trump only fails when he DOES NOT follow his instincts and listens to the burecrats and the career politicians.
.
Two Quick Examples:
.
1) Trump wanted to immediately implement Tax Cuts when he came into office.
McConnell convinced him that Repealing Obamacare should be done first and would be a quick slam dunk.
Trump went against his instincts and followed McConnell’s advice.
Months were wasted, Obamacare was not repealed and the economy’s recovery was delayed.
.
2) Trump wanted to keep the country open during COVID-19 and implement commonsense GUIDELINES, provide government aid and TRUST the American people to behave accordingly.
Faucci and the medical burecrats (as well as his reelection campaign advisors, I’m sure) convinced him to close the country and implement restrictions on American freedoms.
The economy was wrecked and American’s lost many freedoms
.
Both times he should have follwed his instincts, taken the heat and been proven correct in the end.

I want a made for teevee match-up of Pickleball…Voigt & Fauci versus Mnuchin & Paulie Aronsohn.
Fauci was a point guard in high school. Really fast first few steps….
