Ridgewood NJ, a reader made some interesting observations and adds some valuable advice :
“It is very possible that 99.9% of BLM protesters are being manipulated without their knowledge, so do not condemn these children, and the participants in this photo appear to be mostly children. How can they be held responsible for their actions? They are children because… Hey, Google, when does the human brain develop fully? ANSWER – it takes at least 20-30 years (you cold look it up).
Slogans are always fast and easy – Black Lives Matter – No Justice no peace – Hell, no, we won’t go – 54-40 or fight – Damn the torpedoes, full steam ahead – make love not war – etc.
But slogans are a sign of laziness, because they permit the speaker to adopt a position (popular in its time) without having to spend any time or expend any effort researching facts to develop an informed opinion.
Well-thought out opinions are hard work – facts must be sought through an investment of time and effort; some facts may be upsetting to the fact-seeker, and the seeker may be exposed to opinions that may not align perfectly with theirs (OMG!)
No doubt these valiant Ridgewood protesters now “feel good” because:
1 – I am fighting for what is right (and that’s always a good thing!)
2 –WE “stood together” (group membership – “feel-good” endporphins freely flowing)
3 – WE little people “stood up to ‘the man’” (the 60’s, anyone?)
Dear Blog Reader – if you have read this far, then I would wager that you are not one of the “single-line nay-sayer” responders to this article that criticizes punctuation, dangling participles, and poo-poohs opinions that are not lock-step with yours.
I therefore urge you to click on the two links below. And if you know or are related to any of the valiant Ridgewood children protesters, and care at all about enhancing their ability to make their way in the world after they leave “the nest”, and do not fear permanent damage to their gentle psyches, ask them to also view the links – you may be glad you did.

Wow these are kids. White kids from the suburbs that have no idea about what it must be like to be black. Truly being manipulated by misguided grownups. White grownups from the suburbs that have no idea of what it must be like to be black.
I’ve seen comments on this board justifying recent BLM protests by Ridgewood’s younger people. The argument goes something like this: let them protest, at least they are standing up for something.
That would be an ok argument if the movement they are claiming to be a part of didn’t result in country-wide mayhem, burning of the flag, deaths of many innocents and billions in property damage.
But since these unfortunate things have happened, I don’t see how it’s ok to come out in Ridgewood and stand up “for something.” Something ain’t good enough. BLM ringleaders know what the purpose is. Ridgewood kids do not. Until they get educated about what’s actually going on, they should study math and English instead of protesting.
These kids are nothing but privileged spoiled rich kids! Being call because you don’t want their feelings to be hurt. They have not been taught right from wrong because the parents are too busy making money to pay for their every want and need. If they care so much about the under privileged then how about you have them trade places with them for the summer let them live in there expensive homes and they go live in the ghetto. The spoiled little brats will be back home with their tails between their legs. My children went to Youth group at their church and they would go to the mission and do missionary work to help the needy. That’s how they learned how great they had it and we were middle class parents spending time with our children and teaching them right from wrong and they worked for what they had just like there parents. So they didn’t have time on their hands to protest. That’s what is wrong with this angry world we live in today. bring God back into their lives and into the schools that’s what these kids and adults need today and if you hate the way this country is being run then GET OUT 😡🇺🇸🇺🇸
This will drive white voters to the booth and DJT will get elected again.
Just like the nonsense back in 2014.
All I can say is these stupid kids and their encouraging parents are gifting the election to Trump. Please don’t stop, because the swing voters really don’t like seeing it.

I recommend that parents of these protestors google CNN payout to Nick Sandman. It’s a big figure. It doesn’t take much imagination to picture a law abiding resident who gets into an argument with the kids… some of them act aggressive… a nuz outlet or Twitter outs the resident publicly… the Leftist mob smear the resident… the resident files a juicy lawsuits against the nuz outlet… and against the Ridgewood kids who were smearing him…
This is all fun and games, and material for college applications… until the slow wheels of justice finally club your kid with a 6 or 7-figure decision. And don’t think for a second this won’t happened to you because some a$$holes in DC or whatever got away with worse. Those a$$holes had no $. You do.

I’m absolutely astounded by the amount of bigotry in these rants. I’m white, female, well-educated, 75 years old, have worked all my life, and proudly support Black Lives Matter. Don’t Black lives matter to you?
