Let us call out the rainbow flag wavers for what they are – racists.
No I am not kidding. And this is not a conservative accusation. PROGRESSIVES are calling the rainbow flag racist because it excludes minority LGBTs.
Philly has now added a brown and a black stripe to make the flag inclusive (see link below).
So let us call out those flying a rainbow flag sans black and brown stripes in a white town like Ridgewood for what they are – racists.
I sense a huge opportunity for 4 members of the council to seize the initiative, call out the flag bearers for their bigotry and install an inclusive version of the flag.

We need a white stripe. So that makes it an even nine color flag. It’s great how these things can work out so well and make people feel good about themselves, and proud, and stuff….sorry, what was it we were talking about?

Philly’s Pride Flag Is About to Get Two New Black and Brown Stripes and Here’s Why
Philadelphia is redefining the LGBT pride flag.The city has a launched a new campaign, “More Color More Pride,” adding one black and one brown stripe to the traditional six colored rainbow. The new design will be, from top to bottom: black, brown, red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple.
“The black and brown stripes are an inclusionary way to highlight black and brown LGBTQIA members within our community,” said one source involved with the flag-raising event who asked not to be named. “With all of the black and brown activism that’s worked to address racism in the Gayborhood over the past year, I think the new flag is a great step for the city to show the world that they’re working toward fully supporting all members of our community.”
A spokesperson for the event would not confirm the new design, but in a statement described the flag reveal as “a special, can’t-be-missed unveiling and raising of a brand-new Pride flag which promises to be a step toward inclusivity, to spur dialogue within the community, and to impact the worldwide conversation.”
Great move. Enough of those green and blue colored people hogging the flag!
9:35 – As we have learnt from this flag kerfuffle, ‘inclusivity’ is demonstrated through symbolism (flying flags) and not actions.
Are you accusing minority LGBTs of having a ‘rage problem?’ Those additional stripes are their idea after all, and they are the ones who have said the rainbow flag is racist.

red: stands for courage;
orange: offers the vision of possibilities;
yellow: represents the challenge that GREEN has kindled;
green: indicates a challenge to co-operators to strive for growth of membership and of understanding of the aims and values of co-operation;
light blue: suggests far horizons, the need to provide education and help less fortunate people and strive toward global unity.
dark blue: suggests pessimism: a reminder that less fortunate people have needs that may be met through the benefits of cooperation.
violet: is the colour of warmth, beauty, and friendship.

Who makes that determination? White people in places like Ridgewood or poor minority LGBTs in places like Philly?
If minority LGBTs say the rainbow flag is not inclusive and bigoted – then must be the truth? Are we going to let such a symbol of bigotry fly all over Ridgewood?
And let me ask you this – why does adding two more striped matter so much? How does that affect you? If minority LGBTs feel a little bit of dignity and acceptance through the inclusion of a brown and black stripe, why are you so opposed to it?

Forgot all the logic about the colors of the rainbow. You aren’t seeing this through the eyes of a black person. By this, I mean, have you ever spent a lot of time around black people? I’m not talking about the one or two black folks you might have as colleagues. I’m talking black people when they are in an environment where they are comfortable speaking their minds. No, not the angry Al Sharpton kind, either. Well, if you have, and I have for much of my life, the subject is almost always RACE. You can be talking about vacations, sports, food, or cars. The subject almost always veers into race. It’s an obsession. That’s why they see race in a flag where there’s zero evidence to anyone else that race has any part of it. Now don’t come back with any PC bullcrap and the whole I have black friends stuff. You don’t.
The Steelers colors are black and gold if you want to be truly inclusive.

Talk about lack of lack of self awareness.
The six-color flag is racially discriminatory. It needs three more colors to be inclusive. Black, brown and white stripes are required and we need to protest its further display until these changes are made. Ridgewood is ruining its good reputation every day that goes by that it does not make this change. The six-color flag should be removed from public view like all the Trump signs were during the recent primary and general election seasons in 2015-2016. It is that toxic and should not be tolerated.
