Heather is an excellent choice. She is smart, professional, and she is not a bullshitter.
Unlike Queen Roberta, Heather does not have an inflated opinion of herself. She does not insert herself into swearing-in ceremonies down on the floor, nor does she barge into proclamations and honors the way Roberta did. Heather will simply do the job and she will do it well, without playing any political games. Nope, you will never see Heather campaigning for a parking garage or interrupting residents who are lawfully collecting signatures. And she will not shame us by having an ethics violation brought against her at the State level.
Thank God the five elected officials found the best and the brightest for this job. Phew.
A certain toupee-topped councilman used to refer to Roberta as the breath of fresh air. She was a gust of noxious gas.
Heather, on the other hand, is top of the line. The best.

Congratulations to the Council for appointing an outstanding and highly qualified person to the position of Village Manager. Heather is not only highly qualified for the job ( over the years she has filled in the position multiple times as past VM’s have come and gone) but she is absolutely the best person for the job. Congratulations to the Ridgewood VC for your excellent choice for this crucial and highly challenging job. Heather is the BEST !!

You are so right 12:40. We owe our sincere thanks to Heather for accepting the job. I have encouraged her for several years to take the VM position and she always indicated she was not interested. She knows what an incredibly difficult job it is to satisfy all of the divergent parties who come to the VM’s door. Thankfully this time she accepted and I think all will agree that Ridgewood will be a better place with her as the Chief Operating Officer of the Village. Thank you Heather for stepping up !! PS: Heather I bet you know who I am.
