Well, it’s not our government, so it’s on us to Take Back Ridegwood!! Go Monday night to the Valley meeting. Sign the garage petition, talk to your neighbors and friends!! We have a choice we can roll over and do nothing, or get vocal, participate and give it all we got! I know it’s not easy… Exhausting, irritating but we are near a positive change…. The election. Stay strong people, we are near the end of a long and terrible reign.

Final voting registration for the May 10th Municipal Election is April 19th. To register to vote, individuals may register in the Village Clerk’s office from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM or in the Ridgewood Library Lobby on April 19th from 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM.

It really has been a dreadful 4 years. It’s unfortunate for those that seem to genuinely favor the garage without any personal agenda, but this is the issue that the taxpayers have seized upon to take control away from the Council majority. Valley is the much larger and more important issue though and for that we need to put Mr. Voight, Ms. Walsh and Mr. Hache into office to make sure that project never happens.
It is not votes that count but, the qualification of the candidate. Thanks Boyd for the update.
Do what most of Ridgewood does..Roll over. Your good at it. You have been doing it for years. That’s why the town runs as it does on the fabrication that all is well. Junior is being educated in what everyone likes to call “good schools” that are only called such to justify a 100MM budget. A town hall with excessive PD/FD and their union cronies with absured pay and benefits. And now you want change? Now you want to stop the Progress? You think for one second that John Saracino and his ilk at village hall give a flying F*&% what you think? It’s a done deal.
And Valley is a done deal too.
Queue up those For Sales Signs,,even beyond the Valley proximity.Taxes and the BS LEVELS are just too high for those who’s kids are well on their way.ironic because we are the major investors in the town over the last 15 to 20 years in high Taxes

This is why we have rules and standards of overbuilding and lot structure and plat percentages limitations.Try to build a family room or moderate expansion here and strap in for a rough and costly ride by the VOR permit process.Same rules should apply..JUST because some fat cats want to regenerate some dream of increased peak time revenue at a hip dining spot..sorry Charlie..get in line with the homeowners ..when the town planners take you for a long and costly ride..revised architechural plans etc..your not cool that reasonable limitations on slum making dangerous garages are planned..people lives are at stake.Broad and Hudson streets will be impossible to navigate ESP by pedestrians.

History says that period of time in France was characterized by mass executions and violence. I don’t recall seeing any of that in Ridgewood.
Perhaps you should tone down the rhetoric and we could all get along better
