Mayor Paul Aronsohn

It’s truly a perfect storm. We have a mayor whose political ambition exceeds any sense of responsibility to his constituents, a deputy mayor with his own personal agenda and a naive third wheel that will vote for whatever the other 2 tell her to. Please, Bernie hold your ground and make a stink whenever something smells.
Might does not make right. Through a fluke in local electoral politics, raw power is being exercised now. We shouldn’t be surprised that the result is not what the voters and taxpayers of Ridgewood would wish to see. I hope Councilwoman Walsh hangs tough and calls a spade a spade,
ON THE RECORD, whenever the majority on the council is trying to pull a fast one. The duties of office must feel surprisingly burdensome, particularly when one is obliged to assume the role of exorcist as Ms. Hauck’s head slowly spins around, Mayor Aronsohn begins to float out of his seat, and Mr. Pucciarelli starts uttering heinous epithets in a low, menacing voice.
We have a mayor whose political ambition exceeds any sense of responsibility to his constituents, a deputy mayor with his own personal agenda and a naive third wheel that will vote for whatever the other 2 tell her to.
So this is news?
These guys were voted in by the same “Right Leaning” town that overwhelmingly voted for Obama (twice) and was one of only 2 towns in Bergen County that voted for Obama over Hillary in the 2008 primary.
And what did you expect????
This will not be a platform for higher office. When you botch the job of mayor there is no where higher to go. Oh wait, I forgot about Palin.
Quite a desperate reach…
Oh wait, I forgot… It’s Bush’s Fault!
This accurately describes 99.99% of anyone who’s ever been elected.
“Right leaning” town? You’re kidding, right? I feel like I’ve lived in Berkeley CA for the past 20 years.
The old time conservative Ridgewood Republicans are leaving in droves. The Majority here consists of Newby residents, most of whom are liberal leaning Democrats. And coinicidently, the mutual respect and class is no longer present with these people . Rude, brash, and zero respect is the new normal here.
#7 couldn’t that be said for a whole generation of people, as far as rude, brash, and, adding self absorbed to the adjectives.
I saw a used car man with that same grin on his face as he was taking money for a old clunker.
