Ridgewood NJ, Are you ready to hit the courts? The Village of Ridgewood Department of Parks and Recreation is officially kicking off the 2026 season! Whether you’re a seasoned tennis pro or a pickleball enthusiast joining the fastest-growing sport in the country, here is everything you need to know about securing your membership and reserving your court time.


Mark Your Calendars: Registration Starts April 1st

The 2026 season officially begins registration on April 1st, 2026.

Important Note: Do not register early! Any memberships purchased before March 31st will apply to the previous year and will not count toward the 2026 season.

To get started, head over to Community Pass to register every member of your family. While you’re there, double-check your email and notification settings so you never miss an update on clinics, tournaments, or court maintenance.

Membership Fees for 2026

Ridgewood offers affordable seasonal rates for residents. Non-resident passes are extremely limited (only 30 available for each sport), so act fast!

Resident Adult (16-61) $50.00
Resident Child (Under 16) $45.00
Resident Senior (62+) $30.00
Daily Guest Pass $10.00
Non-Resident (Limited Supply) $100.00

How to Get Your Physical Badge

Once you’ve paid online, you’ll need to visit The Stable to finalize your membership.

  • Returning Members: Bring your existing badge to receive your 2026 sticker.

  • New Members: You will have your photo taken and your new badge printed on-site.

Required Proof of Residency: You must bring a valid Driver’s License, Utility Bill (Gas/Electric/Water), Deed, or Lease. Note: Cable and phone bills are not accepted.

Court Hours & Reservations

Courts are open daily from 8:00 AM until dusk.

  • Pickleball Open Play: Join the community on Courts 4, 5, and 6 daily from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM.

  • Priority Reservations: While walk-ons are welcome, resident members can guarantee a spot by booking one week in advance via Community Pass. Reservations always take priority over walk-in play.

  • Guests: If you’re bringing a friend, purchase their $10 guest pass on Community Pass the day of their visit. Your digital receipt serves as their permit.

Important Facility Notice: Glen School Closures

Please be aware that the Pickleball courts will be closed from March 30th to April 3rd for scheduled work at Glen School. We expect them to reopen immediately following completion. Stay tuned to your email for a potential early reopening announcement!
