Ridgewood NJ , over 520 teams competed in this year’s NJSTEAM Tank Challenge, including RHS Teams FireGone, Estrogenerators, and GamaWatch, who completed year-round competitions and were among the 15 high school finalists. On June 8, the 2023 winners were announced with RHS Team Estrogenerators placing 2nd with a $1500 prize; Team FireGone placing 3rd with a $1000 prize, and Team GamaWatch earning recognitions in Innovative Technology, Eco-wear, Entrepreneurship, Creativity & Art, and Diversity!
Team Estrogenrators also placed 3rd and won a 3D printer at the Thomas Edison Pitch Contest. They are invited to showcase their xFilter invention at the NJ School Board Association Workshop in October! WOW – what teams! Way to go Maroons!
