In coming years, there will be a rapid growth in the population aged 65 and over as the Baby Boomer generation heads into retirement.
While the national trend may not reflect the reality of every single municipality in the country, a group of Ridgewood residents is looking to make a difference in its own community, to make the village a better place for residents to grow old.
As someone looking to downsize in the near future I have questions
How much will each unit cost?
What are the taxes?
What are the common charges?
How big/small will they be?
How many parking spots?
I will be downsizing to reduce costs. Taxes are absurd in this town. I filled out a questionnaire for the Ridgewood housing group. My concerns are taxes, taxes amd taxes.
1237 – – go to the planning board meetings where the Arohnson slums . . . I mean the apartments are being addressed. Once you see the pictures of the junk they are looking to build,, then you should stay put in your house or move out of town altogether.
