“It’s an open show – to all people in keeping within the limits of realism, with no abstracts,” said Gail Goodman, chair of The Ridgewood Art Institute’s 33rd Regional Open Juried Show 2013.

There were 140 artworks selected for the show from artists living throughout the tri-state area.

Awards jurors were Charles McVicker, an award-winning painter of landscapes, cityscapes, still life and portraits, and past president of the Garden State Watercolor Society and Crista Pisano, a member of the Lyme Art Association, Artists in the Parks and N.Y. Plein Air Painters.

The show features oils, acrylics, watercolor, pastel and pen and ink. Subjects include landscape, cityscapes, seascapes, florals, and still life, as well as portraits.
