the staff of the Ridgewood blog
Ridgewood NJ, at the September 6, 2023 Village Council Worksession, we heard from Councilwoman Winograd that 25% of the community of Ridgewood CANNOT WALK. This was in a discussion about whether the Zabriskie Schedler house should be open to those who might want to enter and see the improvements. The staff of The Blog would like to know whether the readers feel this is accurate. Is it true that 25% of us cannot walk?

Consider the source. When has Winograd ever gotten anything straight.
She’s not worried.
She knows she’ll be reelected since we’re
RICH and STUPID
This is getting old and tiresome.
Please stop.
Truth sometimes hurts…
Dope.
Is she including infants and toddlers?
Nut job alert.
Not seeing many walkers or wheelchairs at the pedestrian plaza events.
She continues to be her own worst enemy.
She looks tired.
She probably is tired trying to scheme all of the time. All in the name of trying to do things for the sports teams. I would be tired too.
This is one of neighbors here in Ridgewood also Raising a family while serving our community.Get a life commenter..Winter is ahead & we don’t need more neighbor assassination ..get a grip and disagree all you want. ..what if it was your family member under attack ??
sorry..to don’t get to re-trade the voters after the election without push back
Who is “under attacK”? It is a criticism and if I recall, free speech is our right under the Constitution of the United States. If you want to be a good neighbor, then start acting like one and be a good person instead of lying and scheming and leaking information to your friends while the rest of Ridgewood is in the dark. Also, what does Winter have to do with anything?
Serving our community. That’s a good one.
She has done her due diligence.
Paul understands.
It’s all about Paul anyway
But we can vote in the next municipal election.
Face is mirror of the soul.
And the science is clear on that!
Those comments were absurd. Even PV ushered her along after that comment.
That just might be the new #1 in the top 10 Wino-isms.
I think another biggie was when she said she represented all people with disabilities. I didn’t know she was put in charge. She is also the Village Liaison for trees but is voting YES to cut 186 or more of them down on the Schedler property to build a giant sports field.
correction, giant plastic sports complex
She needs to stop talking about herself and trying to back pedal and deflect at each and every council meeting. She thinks she is helping herself but she is now. She goes on about how she drank diet coke and wore high heels. No one cares. The council meeting is not about you, dummy. Do your job and stop talking about things you know nothing about.
Even though she is a moron it is not nice to call people “dummy.”
Would Idiot be better??
Dolt!
If thats the case then why did we ever have a pedestrian plaza?
Great point
Full deployment of the Peter Principle here.
That was for the out-of-towners…95% of whom can walk!
Geez not again, she just shouldn’t say anything at all
She doesn’t instill a feeling of confidence and is always trying to make sure she gets the last word. She, along with her majority block cronies, Paul, Pam, Evan, should all be voted out. I have never seen a council so diabolical in their dealings. They need to wipe out Winograd and Weitz Recall Paul, Can Pam. She adds absolutely no value to the council.
Must be counting deceased residents in that total.
She says stupid things and Evan Says nothing at all
is the blog off today?
Siobhan lies loudly and emphatically in the hopes that she will believed. Now I ask you – who in the world would possibly believe that 25% of our residents are unable to walk?
Where would I find that analysis and statistic. Was there a survey, is it on the census. Please validate
People who cares about this stuff. The ship is sinking, let it go. Down the toilet.
This statement is so far from reality that I am wondering whether it was misinterpreted. She can’t have meant that. One fourth of Ridgewood residents cannot walk? Those under 1 year old, sure.
To whomever keeps calling us rich and stupid. Again, you are offending many of who are not stupid!
It’s whoever, not whomever, but otherwise I agree with you. It’s offensive, annoying, repetitious, and far from original or clever.
just those who voted her to office. most don’t have a clue about the issues in town..just wanted to be part of the cool crowd w a tiffany blue sign on their lawn.
She brings a new low level. Oh my word. She is effing insane.
She creates perpetual chaos
Paul donated money to Siobahn and Evan’s campaigns. Look it up it is public information. He was diabolical in his scheming to stack the deck with people who would be part of his majority block. He succeeded and you will see that they never will vote against him. Just watch.
My fellow residents, this woman has been more or less in the public eye for years. It has always been clear that she was a couple of marbles shy of brightness and possibly mentally ill, with a serious ego problem. You who voted for her chose to ignore all this and now she is in charge of things. Please do some research before voting next time–in every election.
Ha, most who voted for her were in fact voting against Susan because of the pedestrian plaza debacle. Rich n stupid indeed and they will continue to be like that. Same crowd who votes for a huge m@r@n in the WH because they hate a much smaller @hole. Critical thinking is too hard for them. Elections have consequences.
As a daughter of a disabled individual, how can you be poised to make a life altering decision for those living in and around Schedler. Voting to remove hundreds of trees and placing a plastic crumb rubber artificial turf field known to leach forever chemicals into groundwater in a neighborhood where private well water is used by residents knowing that this could cause cancer or another tragic illness that will disable those who get sick, is wrong. If she does this, she will show the village that she her words are empty promises and that she does not care about people with disabilities. When you know Ridgewood water is suing for millions based on contaminated water harmful to residents. True test, Siobahn. Show us who you really are.
Umm, just a minor correction to “she will show the village that she her words are empty promises and that she does not care about people with disabilities”. it should “…. people with or WITHOUT disabilities” or simply she doesn’t really care at all.
