Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood Emergency Services had a full compliment of volunteers on duty operating during yesterdays noreaster. It was a very busy day.
To give you an idea of how hard these guys work on February 18th in a little reported incident while the Ridgewood Emergency Services EMT’s are inside the home accessing and providing aid to the patient, Special Operation Members are outside doing their thing to ensure quick and safe exit for the patient and EMT’s to the Ambulance. It was truly a great team effort.
Wonderful group of people! This is what makes our town special. We can complain all we want about taxes and ignorance but having a Village volunteer, your neighbor, show up when you are in need puts a fine point on why we live where we live.
Branches were coming down and entire mammoth trees were snapping like twigs. Good job ladies and gents–thank you.
Good job by all….
Brian – yes they are good and their work needs to be recognized, but this is done in those towns too where tax rates are lower.
Don’t justify excess spending by combining it with the work done by good guys.
Taxes are going to be unaffordable soon in this town. I have seen many elderly people crying when selling their homes just because they can no longer afford the taxes.
If these are the same guys who pushed snow and fully blocked my driveway then they’re bunch of jerks to me.
Wyckoff CBD completely out of service….
12:39 grow up,plows block all driveways not just yours.
12:39 prima dona
12:39, who’s the jerk?
My fellow taxpayers Ridgewood was not that bad . to other towns like Wyckoff Franklin Lakes in Oakland which at some locations receive 30 inches of snow. Check out the local news for yourself
Yes I would say we got pretty lucky!
