Ridgewood Girls Soccer Takes N1G4 Title 1-0 Over Livingston

Ridgewood NJ, nearly two weeks after ending a Bergen County championship drought that dated back to 1994, the Ridgewood Maroons Ladies Soccer won their first sectional title since 1997 on Friday afternoon against Livingston.

Isabella Winn’s goal in the third minute was enough to clinch the NJSIAA/Wawa North Jersey, Section 1, Section 4 title through a 1-0 victory in Ridgewood.

The top-seeded Ridgewood Maroons (20-2-0) entered this week having  won 14 games in a row and capped off a perfect 13-0-0 record at home.

Ridgewood will now move on to the State Group 4 semifinals on Wednesday where they will play at North 2 champ Westfield, a 1-0 winner over Scotch Plains-Fanwood.

  2. Williamstown loss for volleyball.

    The soccer state semi-final is on Tuesday or Wednesday against Westfield.
