Ridgewood NJ, Amazingly Anthony Damiano the Ridgewood Guild President and owner of Mango Jam posted and email yesterday claiming that “I have successfully postponed the debilitating pseg project”.
As if we think or are expected to believe that PSEG took a meeting with, and then rearranged a project timeline at the request and demand of Anthony Damiano, and not the hard work of our mayor, acting village manager, and engineers.
It is rather disturbing that Damiano and his cohorts would attempt to falsely and blatantly takes full credit for getting PSEG to change their start date, especially asking for kudos to be heaped on The Ridgewood Guild. Apparently he and some of the sore loser comrades of the 3 amigos have a serious hang up with Mayor Susan Knudsen and clearly have a hang up with the fact she is a women and good at her job.
I will never EVER shop in Damiano’s crappy shop.
Damiano is a liar and a nasty prick. The Guild should get rid of him immediately.
Obviously Damiano went to the same school or incivility as dishonesty as Aronsohn. And Sonenfeld. What a bunch of losers. And embarrassment to the Guild and to the town.
So Susan does what Damiano asks and Damiano accuses her of lying. He is a real liability to the Guild. He needs to go. And take his business with him.
Boycott Mango Jam for 12 months…

To make matters worse, Damiano sent the message below to Guild members. Clearly/compared to the official transcript above, he lied to his members and distorted what actually transpired. SHAMEFUL!!

The good thing that came out of this is….,Andrew Wesley now has my cell number, and I have his. He will consult with me personally on any and all PSEG matters regarding our CBD.
Also, you and the bloggers need to stop pointing a finger at Roberta, It is on record that she mentioned this project at 2 August Council Meetings and you did not do anything about it. As u know, I do not attend all meetings. I missed both of these meetings or I would have taken action sooner.

If you really wanted to change the message you would shop more at Mango. If Tony D feels good about his 4th quarter he will be a lot less fired up about the need for a garage.
Bottom line on the PSE&G thing was Tony was right. He brought it to the Mayor’s attention and she helped solve the problem. it is unfortunate that there had to be so much blood strewn over an issue where they generally agreed and the problem was able to be solved.

Yes, agreed. She solved it as soon as she was made aware this was a major issue. She is very bright but not yet a mind reader. She she have figured this would be a problem? perhaps but you have to remember the context here. PSE&G has been destroying our streets all summer. I personally have complained numerous times to the past and current council about the logjam getting through the bike lane being made much worse due to the Glen construction, and we were all told numerous times to be patient. I guess patience is only important for residents trying to go about their daily lives but not business owners.

Commemts like 11:14am discredit this blog. Ridgewood as a community is above that kind of incendiary nonsense.
This blog serves a wonderful and unmet need in Ridgewood. But to use it to display discriminatory comments is not a justified use. Presumably we are all adults and should not need to make remarks like 11:14 and 5:28. Almost everyone currently living in Ridgewood has a good command of the use of the English language. Why degrade yourself and use language that is certainly uncalled for?

I said that everyone can make their points without the use of foul or derogatory comments. Swearing and foul language are not needed at any time. Of course they are part of ‘Free Speech” and are legally permitted. I’m just asking that people use language that doesn’t deliberately attack other people. I say “Oh Shit” and other such language but I don’t feel that they, and similar words, have a place in a public discussion.
