So, if I am ready this correctly, it’s 53-0 in the 4th quarter with 2 minutes to to, the other team has only gained 15 years the entire game, and Ridgewood still has in their first team on defense?
I hate to ask but wouldn’t it have been appropriate to put some other players to give them a little game experience and pay off for all of the time they, too, spend training? I guess Ridgewood was going for the shut-out? Seems like a disgrace to me (and, before you get on me, I’ve played competitive sports).
Disgraceful.
I hope Kennedy pays them back in basketball. They’ll meet twice this winter.
Big win over a weak opponent. They ran up the score, perhaps to allow some players to improve their stats. Go Wood.
I guess #4 has a point . . . by allowing the boys to run up the score and improve their stats, they will look better for recruiters (I assume that is the purpose?).

noun
1. the character, practice, or skill of a sportsman.
2. sportsmanlike conduct, as fairness, courtesy, being a cheerful loser, etc.
Chuck Johnson … Sportsmanship?
Get over it people happens all the time in sports.
Because of games like this recruiters don’t look at stats–they look at films against meaningful opponents. No one will watch this game to evaluate a player. I feel for the boys who work hard and can’t even get PT with a 50 point 4Q lead. Other schools and coaches don’t do this.
There are kids who never get to play if they weren’t running up the score for stats then they should have played the kids from the bench. Some were still overlooked. Why so mean coach?
Were any of you actually at the game?
Another blowout last night….
