Ridgewood N J, as you may have heard, the iconic Warner Theater in Ridgewood has sadly closed its doors after nearly a century of being a cherished downtown landmark. But before the theater undergoes renovations, the owners have generously offered to sell its vintage seats, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Ridgewood Historical Society.

While these seats date back to the 1980s and not the theater’s original opening, they still carry a piece of its storied past. Please note that each seat will require mounting onto a small platform or base after purchase. We’re thrilled to offer these nostalgic seats at the unbeatable price of $50 each. Just imagine having a part of this historic theater in your game room, family room, or even your own home theater setup.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to own a unique piece of Ridgewood’s history while also supporting a wonderful local nonprofit organization. Feel free to purchase as many seats as you like, but please plan to pick them up on Saturday, February 17, between 10 a.m. and noon at the theater’s location at 190 E. Ridgewood Ave. in Ridgewood, NJ. Unfortunately, Ridgewood Historical Society won’t be able to provide deliveries, so this will be your only chance to collect your seats.

For bulk purchases, don’t hesitate to reach out for possible discounts. To secure your theater chair, simply make your payment of $50 each via PayPal (@RidgewoodHistoricalSociety) or Venmo Business (@RidgewoodHistoricalSociety), indicating the number of seats you’re purchasing in the payment note. For any inquiries or further information, please email us at museum@ridgewoodhistoricalsociety.org.

The Ridgewood Historical Society extends their heartfelt gratitude to Deputy Mayor Pam Perron and Village Manager Keith Kazmark for making this opportunity possible.

  1. Gross . does it come with free gum under the seats.

  2. Village Council meeting tonite. What stupid stuff will Peewee have for us tonight ?

  3. How was a building capable of behaving “sadly” when the doors were closed?

The word “shockingly” is also used in the same manner, and for things that most of us consider routine.

    1. Who are you, Wally Wordsmith ?

      1. Nice to meet you Illiterate Larry.

  4. BTW, the deadline for tax appeals hasn’t been reached this year. This is a setup to be classified as a non-economic commercial structure…and a successful reduction in taxes.

  5. It’s a cool building, but they did a poor job, keeping it clean
