Ridgewood NJ, Yep. That’s right Ridgewood taxpayers. Just when you thought it could not get any worse, it has.
On the evening of January 6, 2025, newly appointed Ridgewood Mayor Paul Vagianos publicly endorsed US Representative Josh Gottheimer (D – NJ 5th District) for Governor of NJ. What’s wrong with that, you say? Mr. Vagianos is entitled to endorse anyone running for public office that he wants to, isn’t he?
Well, the problem as we see it is that Mr. Vagianos’ endorsement was made during an open public meeting of the Ridgewood Village Council, and Mr. Vagianos was sitting on the dais, acting in his official capacity when he shot off his mouth.
What makes this political endorsement even more alarming is that for decades, the Village of Ridgewood has prided itself in maintaining a non-partisan form of government. Now this?
Shame on you Mayor Vagianos! On Day 1 of your new administration, things are already headed in the wrong direction. Shame, shame, shame . . .

Another reason to hate the PDRNJ
Gottheimer read a narrative that was clearly written by Vagianos, praising him exhaustingly. Citing everything that Vagianos has done including being married for 41 years. It was ridiculous.
