  1. After all these years of bitching and moaning what input is needed ,just guid a garage. Hudson street would be ideal.

  2. Let’s move forward with some of the obvious doable suggestions NOW !

  3. looks like the proposal is just another way to increase parking meter revenues by doubling the parking meter rates.

  4. well, we’ve heard form the developers. and their cronies…
any residents want to chime in?

Business owners benefit and resident property owners bear the increased property tax burden. Doesn’t seem fair to me.

  6. I continue to shop and dine on Ridgewood Ave. I still have not found the need for a parking garage. I might have to walk a block or two, but never had an issue.

    No Parking Garage Needed!

  7. You right #6.

This parking garage is being pushed by certain members of the Chamber of Commerce and a developer who just happen to buy a large bank building very very close. the purposed garage. Dom Nizza doesn’t care because he will not be around long enough to pay for it in the form of property taxes. As long as some of this landlords keep rentals prices up 20 parking garages will not help. As far as the County getting involved. Remember folks candidates will say anything to get re-elected in Nov. The resident of Ridgewood will pay for this either in County property taxes or local.

  8. I also agree with #6.

  9. How does a parking garage located on Hudson Street benefit those who operate businesses east of the Post Office?

  10. Your right #9. but the people who have the three amigos ear all have interests near the Hudson St lot.
