Ridgewood NJ, Overnight and residential parking regulations resume full enforcement May 1st 2021

Over the past year enforcement of overnight parking and residential time limit restrictions have not been strictly enforced due to the public health emergency that kept people remotely attending school and working from home. Beginning May 1st enforcement of Village parking ordinances in residential zones will resume. Please abide by posted parking signs which limit hours of the day that vehicles can be parked on certain streets. Overnight parking on residential streets is prohibited between 2:00AM and 6:00 AM.
As always if there is a special circumstance that requires you to park on the street during the limited hours you can call the police department at 201-652-3900 and request Permission to park your vehicle on the street.

  1. Speaking of parking, why is Ridgewood selling off over-night parking in the downtown? We spent millions on the Hudson street parking garage purportedly to re-vitalize the downtown by providing spaces for shoppers and restaurant goers. Who benefits from the Village making overnight parking available on a massive scale?

  4. Hey I have and idea…
Let’s raise the parking rates from the obscene $1.25/hour to $5.00/hour.

That, along with a Parking App that leaks personal information to identity thieves is sure to increase business in the CBD.

  5. Who comes up with this, bright ideas Are not working. Talk about a lack of responsibility and knowledge from the top.

  6. Take your kids to vor work day x 365 days so all standard excuses are available when crap hits the Fans

And adults take the rest of the next

just be sure to pay your taxes to VOR
or get the hell-out to florida and south carolina low cost states..
