Thank goodness they bumped up the pay. It was $12 an hour before.
They should Of start the pay at $20 from the beginning. And then they wouldn’t be in this Position.
Cheep again,
What was the payment for the Asian kid that drowned , 15 years ago, O ‘yea ( 13 , million) wake up.
$23/hr for a seasonal lifeguard??? Biden-induced inflation is very, very real.
Hey it’s for safety. People are so stupid. Pay for safety it’s worth it.
Look at the problem we have with yard waste crew. We don’t have enough of worker’s for that crew. And it’s because the pay. Low pay is the problem.
I’ve never, in 30 years of living in R’wood, had a problem with our sanitation department. Yes, they’ve occasionally failed to pick-up when there is a new crew or a road closure. But if I feel that my pick-up must be that day and cannot wait until the next pick-up, I simply call them and they send someone out. Always. For 30 years. The Sanitation and Recycling crews are THE BEST and we should pay them more because they earn it!
Let’s just offer to pay for their college tuition.

right?
Doesn’t matter how much you offer to these spoiled, everyone-gets-a-trophy, snowflake kids. They don’t want to do anything even remotely resembling physical labor or involving sweating.
