Ridgewood NJ, looks like Gail Price the Ridgewood planning Board attorney who came under a lot of scrutiny for her over the top Facebook posts and seemingly all too cozy relationship with Valley Hospital has submitted her resignation.  Things came to a head during her husband Richard Brooks’s failed campaign for Village Council where she took a lot of heat for conflicts of interest and seemed to undergo a social media melt down.

The Ridgewood blog had heard that she did not submit a proposal in response to the RFQ and that she personally hasn’t attended a Planning Board meeting since her husband declared his candidacy for Village Council.  At that time we had no resignation per se but it did appear that she’s done.

She attended a meeting few weeks ago where she threatened to sue to board for the “process” they took with the RFP.

Classic…I feel sorry for her. All the crap, vitriol and nastiness this woman has spewed over the years has finally caught up to her and her husband whom she dragged through the mud only to further her cause. Absolutely pathetic. Bye Felicia….

So, there is only one obnoxious person left? When will she leave?

One small step for man, one giant leap for Ridgewood! Hopefully, a string of others will follow.

Surprised it took this long. She was conflicted the entire time she served. She was a Vslley supplicant.

Why the hell are you people so nasty? Why don’t you volunteer your time and see how easy it is to serve your community while holding onto a full time job. It’s so easy to complain while sitting anonymously behind your computers. You are the pathetic ones!

I agree that nastiness is not ever called for. I also agree that to be a “Do Nothing” while using only your negative mouth is a problem here. However, many of these complaints are being directed to paid employees of Ridgewood. Some of our employees seem to think that they rule Ridgewood instead of working FOR Ridgewood. These are the employees who are drawing the most complaints. The Council should inform them of that. Once that information is again ignored it may well be time for some paid employees to be let go.

The time has long passed for pleasantries. And don’t fool yourself thinking that this blowback directed at the volunteers is uncalled for. To think that someone like Gail was donating her time because she was giving back is laughable. Look at the connections, connect the dots. It’s pretty simple to see the payday just a we bit over the horizon. As far as the over paid / over pensioned lot it’s been a long time coming…people have HAD IT with the continued abuse in the form of over taxation and as soon as I complain about a $100MM school budget or the local FD/PD taking a 100K pension after 20 I get some union lackey putting his foot up my arse because “its only fair”.
    Well guess what? PARTY’S OVER.

Didn’t Gail Price advise the planning board on issues before it as an outside vendor, providing legal services for an hourly fee, just like any other attorney who works for a small municipality? Why “the hell” are you suggesting that Gail Price gave her time away for free, Mark 6:42am?

    NEWS FLASH FOR 9:44 AM,

The Party ain’t even close to being over. You think your getting screwed, how do you think your clients feel about being screwed by you? You have been screwing your clients for years, payback is a bitch ain’t it.

Should have been kicked out instead of resigning for being obnoxious with residents, who pay the taxes, i.e. her paycheck.

Teachers, police and fire are ALL overcompensated when you include the value of their lifetime “platinum” healthcare and pension benefits, along with allowances for “special” early retirement and accumulated leave. The seven new officers the ROD just hired will all retire comfortably on +$100K annual pensions in just 25 short years if they play by the rules. Time to diminish these unsustainable benefits. We’re already taxed to death and the union lackeys only WANT it to get worse to keep their gravy train rolling… Party’s over.
