Ridgewood NJ, a reminder from the Ridgewood Police Department , as of March 1st New Jersey has implemented a new “Move Over” law:
When approaching a pedestrian or a person on a bike, skateboard or scooter on the roadway, drivers must: Move over one lane when passing, if it safe to do so, or allow four feet of space between the car and the person being passed. If it is not safe or possible to move over one lane, drivers must slow to 25 MPH.
And what are we supposed to do when those douchebags in their goofy looking black pants and dentist mirrors ride 4 abreast on saddle river road.
This is ridiculous
“And what are we supposed to do when those douchebags in their goofy looking black pants and dentist mirrors ride 4 abreast on saddle river road.”
Get on the horn, pi$$ them off; by law they should be riding single file.
I try to get as close as I can when I drive by them. I also block their path at stop signs and stop lights. So many occasions where they ride two or three deep taking up the entire road.
I purposely act dangerously in my half-ton of speeding metal, because I’m annoyed. I am a rational adult, and my opinion is worthy of consideration.
Thank God they passed a law.
All problems are solved now.
This is just amazing, just like the idiot who came up with the green painted bike lane under the train trestle. remarkable you are . What would the world do without you. You must ride your bicycle without a seat.
Just more “laws” to fine and ticket the public. The state always wins (at robbing you)
