Recently, a group of individuals were located at Graydon Pool and are believed to have been planning thefts from motor vehicles. Parking lots like Graydon and the county park are easy targets as people will leave their valuables (purses, phones, etc) in the car while enjoying an outdoor activity. These are known as “smash and grab” thefts and are done quickly and often successfully.
Please keep your valuables out of sight, even in a locked vehicle, and call us if you see something suspicious.
does this have anything to do with the “Suspicious SUV” in Graydon the other day?
yes
