Ridgewood NJ, Three (3) Ridgewood PD uniformed patrol officers responded to investigate a reported assault that took place in the rear of a Franklin Avenue restaurant late Saturday afternoon, 06/10. An adult male restaurant worked alleged that workers at a nearby auto repair shop threw water or water bottles at him for an unknown reason. No one was taken into custody at the scene of the alleged attack, however, a “simple assault” report was filed by a responding officer.
