Ridgewood NJ, it happens about every 6-9 months due to a poor parking lot design.  No injury to driver, and vehicle was not damaged.  Ridgewood Police Patrol Officer Christopher Mormino assisted the driver.  All Points Towing gave an assist.  Parking lot is located at Ridgewood Orthopedic Group, 85 South Maple Avenue, Ridgewood.

  1. Looks like two uneven portions of surface grades are easy to misjudge

Why can’t property owner or VOR
Install some flexible low height cones or
Low fixed Parking markers of 18 inches height as example . drivers can easily back up and miss a grade difference and
Wheels can fall into a lower graded pavement area .This needs to be fixed
Despite ongoing maintenance in spring after snow flows tent to bulldoze everything less than 4 feet in height

  2. Boy, you get so technical you’re making me quiver

  3. Looks like some people don’t have the requisite skills to drive.

These are the prime candidates for the future “utopia” of self-driving cars.
Just another skill lost and another dependency ceded to the machines…

  4. That’s the stone masons lot. I swear they call this fishing. Catching land tunas is another name of the sport. Once you get beached on the ledge, you’re at their mercy. Your only hope is that the docs save you before you’re net’ed otherwise off to the market for you to the highest bidder!
