Ridgewood NJ, the Ridgewood Police Department has now opened The Chief Michael Feeney Junior Police Academy to 5th Graders .
The Chief Michael Feeney Junior Police Academy will take place from June 26 to June 30th at Benjamin Franklin Middle School. It is open to students that will be entering 5th, 6th, and 7th grades in the fall. Each day will be 9am to 3pm except for Wednesday, June 28th which will be an 8am start.
Two field trips will occur. This year we are looking forward to visits to the Bergen County Law and Public Safety Institute, Statue of Liberty, encounters with the SWAT team, Fire Department, K9, and the always popular helicopter landings.
