For our local community, September 11 is a deeply personal day dedicated to remembering the 12 Ridgewood residents who went to work that morning and never came home.

To give residents an opportunity for quiet reflection and remembrance, the Ridgewood Public Library is hosting the annual “Portraits” exhibit.
Throughout September—and specifically on September 11—community members are invited to visit the exhibit to view photographs, personal stories, and family tributes celebrating the lives of our 12 fallen neighbors.
Whether you pause for a few moments on September 11 or stop by during the month, taking time to view the “Portraits” memorial ensures that the memory of those lost continues to shine brightly.
