Ridgewood NJ, the Ridgewood Board of Education held its first meeting of 2024. The first order of business was swearing in  Ms. Micale and  Mr. Dani as trustees .

And then in a direct slap in the face to Ridgewood voters, taxpayers and homeowners , the ethically challenged  Ms. Brogan, was named president of the Board of Education .

The latest election tilted the board of ed balance in favor of the teachers union and the latest board move is part of that result .

The election of Ms Brogan signaled a further decline in the once great “tradition of excellence ” Ridgewood School system and set an all time low in Board of Education policy. and a failure of trustees to abide by the Code of Ethics for School Board Members .

Not unusual for the Ridgewood School District, but now with the election of Ms Brogan all sense and pretense of “ethics” is out the window.

18A:12-24.1 Code of Ethics for School Board Members.

  3. I will confine my board action to policy making, planning, and appraisal, and I will help to frame policies and plans only after the board has consulted those who will be affected by them.
  4. I will carry out my responsibility, not to administer the schools, but, together with my fellow board members, to see that they are well run.
  5. I will recognize that authority rests with the board of education and will make no personal promises nor take any private action that may compromise the board.

  2. How much more money will she be spending of tax dollars in order to fight her ethics vioation. When will it stop. Does this now give her more power to go and do whatever she wants?

  3. Dinosaur. Need a leader from present day
