The District is coordinating closely with public health officials and following CDC, state, and local health department guidance in order to assure the health and safety of our community. Upon conclusion of the
investigation, all close contacts were identified and notified. If you have not been notified then your child has not
been determined to be a close contact.

We clean and disinfect our schools daily. The district is also taking precautions to prevent the introduction and spread of viruses and other germs and is cleaning frequently touched surfaces daily The status of this situation is
fluid, and we are monitoring it closely.

  1. To speak only of “cases” is at best misleading… not surprisingly, that is the only number bandied about nowadays – why? You figure it out.

What about numbers for “recovered”, “tested”, “deaths”, etc? To omit these numbers is to be like one of the six blind men trying to describe an elephant – see:

    https://www.allaboutphilosophy.org/blind-men-and-the-elephant.htm

We need more complete information – until we are provided with it, no reasonable conclusion can be made, nor reasonable action taken, and the purveyors of all partial information should not be trusted further than they can be thrown.

  2. Passaic HS closed until February….100% virtual…

  3. “Passaic HS closed until February….100% virtual…”

    Yes.
    Let’s close our HS too.
We want to aspire to be like Passaic.

  4. Kids should be in school full time. Let teachers who r are at risk teach remotely.

  5. Yes, and let those kids spread it among themselves and bring it home to their parents. Brilliant idea. Can’t imagine why experts didn’t think of that.

  6. Mahwah schools 100% virtual until after Thanksgiving….

  7. Mahwah… another aspirational school

  8. “Yes, and let those kids spread it among themselves and bring it home to their parents. Brilliant idea. Can’t imagine why experts didn’t think of that.”

You need to get the new talking points…

Now that Trump is out, Fauci did a 180 and is now saying that:

“the vaccines will be here in December – the cavalry is coming – help is on the way”
“he does not believe the U.S. would require another shutdown in order to get things under control.”
“Certainly, it is not going to be a pandemic for a lot longer because I believe the vaccines are going to turn that around.”

Get it together. Try to stay up to date with the Democrat talking points.

  9. I’d like to see a link to Fauci saying that another lockdown is not required. All I can find is this (https://www.google.com/amp/s/abcnews.go.com/amp/Politics/biden-covid-19-advisory-board-member-suggests-week/story%3Fid%3D74173793), in which he says that America doesn’t have the appetite for another shutdown, which is a far different thing.

Also, I’d guess you prefer to see Fauci say that a vaccine won’t help accelerate the end of the pandemic, or does it really not matter, because either way you’ll twist it to make sure it fits whatever political talking points you want to put out there?

  10. It is true, Fauci was on GMA and said we do not need to do another shutdown and hurt the economy. He just says everyone needs to wear masks and hopefully we will have the vaccine for all by April-June. Search harder 😂

  11. No one is debating whether lockdowns are a good idea or not. What is being debated is a false assertion about what Fauci said. It is a bad faith argument to twist his words into a narrative that a) he has changed his mind on lockdowns and b) that he has done so to progress a liberal agenda. He has not changed his mind — he has resigned himself to the reality that America has no appetite for it (which were exactly his exact words).

  12. One problem is not “everyone wears masks” nor keeps social distance. I mean really, how hard is it to do these simple things to prevent another shut down/second wave/deaths….my heavens people

    1. ask the protests and the election celebrants

  13. Your God, Fauci has been all over the map.

His most recent statements (post election) are:
    1) The vaccine is coming soon (when just weeks ago, he was saying no vaccine for years perhaps)
    2) Lockdowns will not be necessary (when just weeks ago he was saying that lockdowns may be necessary)

I’m sorry, but your refusal to listen to the facts, does not change these facts.

  14. Fauci is a man, not a god. A few weeks ago he was saying that some states should consider lockdowns. I can’t find any evidence that he discussed a national lockdown is necessary, certainly not in recent months. Again, Facebook memes or headlines are not facts.

  15. OH, so now, you are agreeing with me that post election, Fauci is saying that lockdowns would not be required to get things under control, but a few weeks ago he was saying that lockdowns could be required.

Complete 180 after the election (even though he says “cases” are increasing)

    Get it together.

If you are going to be an effective Democrat tool, you need to keep up with the current talking points.

  16. Wtf are you on about? To paraphrase Andy Dufresne, how can you be so obtuse – is it deliberate?
