3729 – Bond Ordinance – Acquisition of Vehicles for            Parking Utility ($57,000) – Appropriates money          for the purchase of two SUVs for the Parking            Utility to be used by the Parking Enforcement           Officers

3732 – Bond Ordinance – Acquisition of Vehicles – Parks   Department and Traffic & Signal Department               ($79,000) – Appropriates money for the purchase           of a pickup truck with a snowplow for the               Traffic and Signal Department and a pickup truck   for the Parks Department

3733 – Bond Ordinance – Reappropriate Funds for                Scarab Windrow Turner ($611,081.95) –                      Reappropriates funds from various ordinances and      also provides funding from the Capital                 Improvement Fund for the purchase of a Scarab           Windrow Turner for the Lakeview Compost Facility

3734 – Establish Loading Zone at Train Station Parking        Lot – Establishes a Loading Zone at the Train         Station parking lot to be used by the Train          Station Concession employee as well as Social             Services

3735 – Establish Reserved Parking Spaces at Train              Station Parking Lot – NJ Transit and Concession        Stand/Social Services – Establishes two reserved   parking spaces at the train station to be used             by the NJ Transit employee and by the employees        of the Train Station Concession and Social                  Services

3736 – Amend Chapter 265 – Vehicles and Traffic – Time         Limit Parking on Monte Vista, Park Slope,                  Madison Place and North Hillside Place – Permits        4-hour parking from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.,            Monday through Friday, except Holidays on these        streets

3737 – Amend Chapter 145 – Fees – Fire Prevention              Fees – Amends the fees charged by Fire                Prevention to bring them in line with fees             charged by surrounding municipalities

3738 – Amend Various Salary Ordinances – Amends various   salary ordinances to add titles and salary             ranges that have previously not been used, as        well as to amend some existing salary ranges

3739 – Amend Chapter 212 – Tennis Courts – Rules and           Regulations – Adds additional rules and               regulations to the existing ordinance to include       sponsored programs taking precedence; permitted             time and hours of play; permitted use of the            courts; prohibition of pets, smoking, roller         skating, skateboarding, and bicycle riding on           the courts; and prohibiting private lessons on         the courts

3740 – Amend Chapter 18 – Environmental Advisory               Committee – Name Change and Establish Membership       – Amends this ordinance by changing all               references to the Ridgewood Environmental               Advisory Committee to the Green Ridgewood               Committee.  Also establishes that there are ten           regular members and no alternate members of the            Committee.

3741 – Amend Chapter 26 – Green Team – Amends this        ordinance by changing all references to the            Ridgewood Environmental Advisory Committee to          the Green Ridgewood Committee, throughout the           ordinance      

3742 – Amend Chapter 190 – Signs – Regulations for        Window Displays in the Business Districts –          Establishes regulations for window displays in           the business districts including number of               displays, location, size, illumination and video   or recorded displays of information

3743 – Amend Chapter 154 – Flood Damage Prevention –           Amends Chapter 154-6(a) to indicate that the           report was revised on August 28, 2019 as there         was a typographical error in a previously                 adopted ordinance regarding the revision date

This change               order was necessary due to additional milling         and paving work, as well as additional                 improvements related to the Garber Square               Traffic Signal and fiber optic cable being             laid, which will be needed in the Hudson            Street Garage.

19-271    Authorize Shared Services Agreement –                  Municipal Court Administrator and Deputy               Municipal Court Administrator (NTE $50,000 –           Glen Rock) – Authorizes a Shared Services               Agreement whereby the Borough of Glen Rock               will provide a Municipal Court Administrator            and the Village of Ridgewood will provide a           Deputy Municipal Court Administrator, the use        of two clerical employees and                         videoconferencing services

19-272    Authorize Shared Services Agreement –                  Floodplain Protection Planning Services                (Bergen County) – Authorizes a Shared                Services Agreement whereby Bergen County            provides a Floodplain Acquisition Plan by               using the services of The Land Conservancy of          New Jersey and The Rutgers Cooperative                    Extension Water Resources Program at no cost       to the Village of Ridgewood

19-273    Approve Submission of NJDOT Grant Application           and Authorize Execution of Grant Agreement –               South Broad Street Resurfacing – Approves             this grant application; authorizes the Mayor               and Village Clerk to submit an electronic               grant application; and authorizes the Village           Manager to execute the grant agreement

19-274    Authorize Major Soil Moving Permit – Hudson            Street Parking Lot – Authorizes a major soil             moving permit, subject to compliance with the        terms and conditions of the Planning Board               resolution and the terms and conditions of              this resolution

19-275    Authorize Execution of Agreement for Parking            Space at Ridgewood Train Station for                  Concession Stand Operator/Social Services –              Authorizes the Mayor and Village Clerk to            execute an agreement between the Village of             Ridgewood and the operator of the Train                Station Concession Stand and Social Services              for the use of one reserved shared parking            space at the Ridgewood Train Station

19-276    Declare Property Surplus – Police Department           Vehicles – Declares 2 Ford Crown Victorias            surplus property and authorizes the Village             Manager to dispose of said property

19-277    Declare Property Surplus – Streets Department

          Paving Box – Declares a paving box surplus             property and authorizes the Village Manager           to dispose of said property

19-278    Cancel General Capital Ordinance Balances –            Cancels balances from various Capital                Ordinances where projects have been completed      or circumstances have changed, whereby                  funding is no longer needed. These balances            will be put into the General Capital Fund            Balance.

  1. What happened to the contractor last year of doing the leaves. Every year someone else. Can you use ago the village sanitation crew handled the leaves what happened.

  2. Don’t worry about it , the leaves fall put them out in the street.
