Ridgewood Nj, as per the Village of Ridgewood: Due to road closures and detours beginning at 7:00 am, trash, recycling and yard waste collections will take place earlier than usual at homes located in the area of East Glen Avenue, Van Emburgh Avenue, Quackenbush Place and East Saddle River Road. Please make sure that your receptacles are ready for pickup THE NIGHT BEFORE your scheduled collections. Road work is expected to continue through May 16, 2025.

Excuse me who’s putting thumbs down, if you look at the past, we had quite a few employees get severely hurt, broken, rist, broken, ankles, knee damage, back problems, lacerations, so on the barrel should not be more than 55 pounds. Do you know how many barrels these employees have to pick up each and every day give them a break. Some of those barrels way over 100 pounds ridiculous.

you fool obviously, you are real inconsiderate for the village employees, there is a law on weight, if you look at your calendar, it will tell you what you’re allowed max in weight. And guess what OSHA regulations supersede that and that is 55 pounds at each barrel. So break your barrel down no one stating that you cannot have extra barrels just make them lighter so no one gets hurt. It’s your tax dollars that’s paying when an employee gets hurt.🫵🏼

lets not pick a fight with all the village workers. I hate this town but i respect the people doin the hard work. I’ve been working construction since I was 14 shovel and rake then you start picking up things. Having heavy barrels puts alot of stress on the worker. Keep it to a minimum. I think we need to move strategically. Lets go after Drag Queen Story Time and Pride Month. Lets make sure these leaders dont fly that flag over us this June. It starts with common sense and talking to people. We probably share alot more in common than you think. Its just many of us have been so distracted and its been difficult to navigate. But the easier thing to do is not listen to the mainsteam media. Have a nice evening everyone.

I don’t know why it’s so hard, it’s just common sense. Don’t make the barrel heavy. If it’s heavy well then the worker should leave the barrel there we don’t need to three people pick up a barrel because it’s over 100 pounds , the village should send out tickets if the barrels are too damn heavy that’s all
