Ho-Ho-Kus NJ, a massive tree was brought down by high winds on Monday morning, February 17, completely blocking a portion of East Saddle River Road just north of Hollywood Avenue in Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey.

Ho-Ho-Kus NJ, FedEx Ground delivery truck slammed head on into a utility pole at the intersection of Deerhill Drive and Wearimus Road, Ho-Ho-Kus just prior to 12 noon on Friday, 12/08. The vehicle’s driver sustained a minor facial injury in the incident, but refused ambulance transportation to a local hospital. Ho-Ho-Kus Police, Ho-Ho-Kus Fire Department, and Ho-Ho-Kus EMS responded to the incident along with crews from PSE&G’s Electric Division. Wearimus Road was temporarily closed between East Saddle River Road and Powderhorn Drive while PSE&G crews worked to replace a downed pole and restore electric service.

Saddle River NJ, Road closure, please plan accordingly. East Allendale Road will be shut from 7AM to approximately 4PM on or about Monday August 14 and Tuesday August 15 in both directions at West Saddle River Road and East Saddle River Road. The road will be shut due to construction at the bridge.

1. Outgoing police Chief Jacqueline Luthcke was honored with a proclamation. Everyone on the Council praised her. Councilwoman Winograd mentioned that it spoke so well of Luthcke that she had been chosen years ago by her peers to be the Chief. Apparently Winograd has no idea how the Police Chief is selected. It is not a popularity contest. Winograd loves to brag that she deals in facts. Well she got this all wrong.

Saddle River Nj, early this morning The Saddle River Fire Department responded to a single car motor vehicle crash involving power lines on the East Road. Saddle River Fire Department units 1131,1141,1130,1140,1151, mitigated the scene by securing the area and turning the scene over to Orange and Rockland Power for the utility repairs. No injuries reported .

Ho-Ho-Kus NJ, a stuck truck caused the closure of East Saddle River Road near Fox Run in Ho-Ho-Kus for over one (1) hour on Saturday afternoon, 05/14. A large box truck making a delivery to a nearby home got stuck when turning into the home’s driveway. A heavy duty tow truck was dispatched to free the stuck vehicle. No damage was reported to either the truck, driveway, or street. Two (2) Ho-Ho-Kus Police marked patrol units provided traffic control during the incident. Ho-Ho-Kus NJ, a bright green Lamborghini was one of three (3) vehicles involved in a Sunday afternoon, 10/24, collision in the 700 block of East Saddle River Road, Ho-Ho-Kus. One (1) individual, reportedly a passenger in the Lambo, sustained a non-life threatening injury and was transported by ambulance to The Valley Hospital. A flatbed tow truck removed the heavily damaged Lambo and a Nissan Sentra from the scene. The third vehicle involved, a Jeep Cherokee, was able to be driven away on its own power. Traffic on East Saddle River Road near Bogert Road in Ho-Ho-Kus was diverted while emergency responders worked at the scene.

Ridgewood NJ, the Ridgewood Police have issued a traffic alert for East Saddle River Road and Paramus Road Paving today. Linwood Avenue east bound traffic will be detoured at N.Pleasant Ave. to East Glen.
East bound Traffic on East Ridgewood Ave at Paramus Road is being diverted North on Paramus Road. Best route to Rt 17 is E.Glen Ave. or Grove Street to Midland Ave. Additionally the exit ramp from route 17 south onto East Saddle River Rd is closed and being detoured to Linwood Ave. please allow extra time or choose an alternate.

Ridgewood NJ, A two (2) vehicle Thursday afternoon, 06/29, collision at the intersection of East Glen Avenue and East Saddle River Road in Ridgewood resulted in a non life threatening elbow injury to one (1) vehicle occupant. Both vehicles involved, a Nissan Rogue and a 1930 Ford Model “A”, were towed from the scene. The injured party was transported by ambulance to The Valley Hospital. Ridgewood Police, Fire, and EMS responded. Fire Department personnel attended to a crash related fluid spill. Ho-Ho-Kus Police assisted with traffic control.

Ridgewood NJ, Both drivers involved in a collision at the intersection of East Glen Avenue and East Saddle River Road, Ridgewood on Thursday afternoon, 05/25, were transported by separate ambulances to The Valley Hospital with non life threatening injuries. Ridgewood Polie, Fire, and EMS units responded. FD personnel attended to a crash related fluid spill. The two (2) wrecked SUVs were removed by tow trucks.
