  1. Water is piped in from Hinkley

  2. It’s about time we either get a new manager and ask Calbi to step aside or sell it.

  3. What’s to discuss? The water is poisoned. And time after time they fail to bring your drinking water into compliance. Does anyone even read the stupid memorandum they circulate ad nauseam? If you have not, I suggest you do. They literally instruct you to drink bottled water. What are you paying in taxes here, to drink bottled water? And are you going to shower with bottled water, wash your clothes with it too? Water is life. This should be job #1. But, as one of the frequent commentators here opines: “Rich and stupid.”

  4. PFAS for everyone! According to the Mayor Vagianos “We didn’t put PFAS in the water but we are going to get it out” but still voted on an articial turf field at Schedler complex right near wells for private water.

  5. PFAS shitshow. Per up above, Hinkly water is right! Just wait til someone gets sick then we call Erin Brokovitch!

  6. The water still taste like I don’t know what, not good at all what is going on. Just sell it to Viola.

  7. How many years will they get to continue poisoning us?

They had 1 year to remediate.
    It’s been what? 5years? 10 years?

    Where is the accountability?

  8. Tell the other towns to restrict irrigation the way we do. It’s horribly unfair.

  9. My family doesn’t drink it, used to love it now you can’t even drink it if you drink too much of it, it will burn your throat.

    1. It stings, burns , my eyes when I take a shower, even when close eyes, water still stings them!

  10. Remove the Program Management team , they do not know how to resolve the issue in a timely mannered manner. PM are not good at managing the process and not sure if the project engineers are even better , the technicians and utliliy works are following the work orders. The Tappen Zee / Cuomo bridge was completed faster than water filtration and toxic removal… Yes ???

  11. I was told a long time ago watch out for his smile. Oh yeah.
We are so happy that the water department is out of village hall.
That should have nothing to do with the village it’s a utility company

  12. So true

  13. Can anyone recommend a portable “Brita” type of filtered pitcher that removes PFOA and PFOS that my family can use in the meantime until the overall system improves?
