  1. Now that’s a beautiful bridge, Talk about perfect insight of the design of the Bridge. It belongs in the town smart thinking.

  2. Beautiful indeed.

Ridgewood would never be able to do this, Peewee would allocate project funds for one of his friends’ pet projects instead.

  3. The bridge is horrible! Plastic and concrete. So red it can scare away little children and that is the second color. They cut down 25 hardwood trees to construct this disaster. Destroyed a beautiful woodland that will take years to recover. Contractors were not environmentally friendly, plastic in river, screws in river, scarred trees with machines, the list goes on. It is the most embarrassing bridge the town could have built. Nothing charming and quaint about it. You should not get awards for what you did not do well. They did not save any trees! They cut down more than the DEP permitted them to do. Then the Mayor was afraid the other trees would hurt his precious bridge so he cut the rest of them down. You should have seen the first roof that went on! Not one person read the specs it was a 4 on 12 Shed roof with Web plate trusses with a plan of them to be exposed! That was a $30k error …To give this project an award is a total joke. I guess you give awards out to anyone and they are not special at all. How do you walk by all those tree stumps and give this project an award.

    1. Nonsense.

You’re just jealous because Saddle River is beautiful and we live in a town with toxic parks, contaminated tap water, and council members who hate squirrels but love artificial turf.
