New Bridge Landing River Edge NJ, Scout Pack 229 of River Edge came for a tour of Historic New Bridge Landing this weekend. It was great to see that the 8-10 year olds were knowledgeable in American history.
Everyone; scouts, scout leader, parents, chaperones and Bergen County Historical Society interpreters seemed to enjoy the tour. Eagle Scout Michael Ginch (in red shirt) gave a presentation on the bake oven he built for Bergen County Historical Society.
Bergen County Historical Society president Carol Restivo organized the tour with Deborah Powell, Joe Restivo and Beverly Hashimoto.
