Ridgewood NJ, in response to a resident’s concern regarding the need for additional Village Council studies of Schedler property development plans, Councilwoman Siobhan Winograd just wrote this on Facebook:  “ . . . we as a council of five cannot access our staff professionals independently.” Meaning, the Councilwoman is unhappy that she can’t question Village employees directly about Schedler. Our form of government doesn’t permit it. The Village Manager is the gatekeeper; it’s been that way for decades.

Washington DC, (8:33 am) the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) declined 0.1 percent in December on a seasonally adjusted basis, after increasing 0.1 percent in November, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Over the last 12 months, the all items index increased 6.5 percent before seasonal adjustment. The index for gasoline was by far the largest contributor to the monthly all items decrease, more than offsetting increases in shelter indexes.

Normal air traffic operations are resuming gradually across the United States following an overnight outage to the FAA’s Flight Computer System

Newark Nj, at 715 am the FAA was still working to fully restore the Notice to Air Missions system following an outage. The FAA has ordered airlines to pause all domestic departures until 9 a.m. Eastern Time to allow the agency to validate the integrity of flight and safety information.

This family friendly event featured live music from popular local musician Kyle Towey from 5:00-6:00pm and an exciting illuminated “ball drop” from the Westwood Fire Department’s bucket truck right at 6:00pm.

He was accepted to Fordham University to study business and pre-law, when Anthony developed an itch starting at his toes that quickly moved up his body.
