Wyckoff NJ, an intense rainstorm swept through Bergen County on Saturday afternoon, September 7th, causing damage to several homes. One of the most serious incidents occurred in Wyckoff, where a large tree fell onto a ranch-style home in the 300 block of Monroe Avenue around 4:30 PM.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but the damage to the home was extensive, leaving it uninhabitable. Local authorities, including the Wyckoff Police Department, Wyckoff Fire Department, and Waldwick Fire Department, responded to the scene to assess the situation and ensure the area was safe.
This serves as a reminder of the unpredictability of late summer storms, and the importance of being prepared for severe weather conditions.
