Inglewood Ca, with the Super Bowl only 10 days away, the game is currently tracking to be the most expensive one ever, in terms of median ticket price on the secondary markets. The data is according to Gametime (Gametime.co), the leading app/site for last minute tickets.
As of now, the lowest priced seats for the Super Bowl are $5,150 per ticket, including service charges. The most expensive seats are $37,827 each, after service charges. The current median price is $9,502.50 per seat.
Gametime has revealed that the best time to purchase Super Bowl tickets is within 2-3 days before the event when demand starts tapering off. Historically – as the cheaper listings get brought up, the remaining listings with higher pricing will appear for purchase. Therefore, ticket prices will see a slight increase at some point on the day of the Super Bowl once the minimum priced listings are sold.
Currently Gametime see 18% of Super Bowl ticket buyers coming from Los Angeles, 4% from Cincinnati and 78% from elsewhere, based on area codes of ticket purchasers.
