While New Jersey is still growing slowly, one wide swath of the state is not.

  1. No, Ridgewood is not one of them. We have great schools, shops, eateries, bars ect so if you live close to the CBD you don’t have to get in your car on the weekends. The train will take you to Hoboken and NYC should you want to experience a major center of Western Civilization (no not Hoboken dumb asses).

But, as is your wont…have at it. Let’s here about how I am a “pro development crazy”, and how this town, this state, and this country is going downhill! Tell me why I should be walking around with my teeth clenched in rage at everything I see. Please! I need to learn!

  2. 12:40 you are complaining about the long list of angry people afoot…seems we have also seen the angry enemy and he and you are us..true a lot of raging has been going down..a lot for damm good reasoning, some I admit is sillier ragging about jaywalking texxters awaiting a visit to Valley if lucky enough,..good luck and health to you..

  3. This is what Ridgewood had going for it 30yrs. ago: Great schools (good now), great shopping(good now), not so many restaurants(more now because they can survive until the economy starts heading south), 3 or 4 bars( same now,or at least close), a train the same as now. You don’t have to be “pro development crazy” to see that things are going south IF you have lived here long enough. If you keep building garages you don’t need, adding apartments that will be questionable, at best, and expanding a hospital that could very well be the end of a neighborhood,if not a town, then things will look a lot less rosy down the road.
As for the state, there are plenty of reasons(taxes?) why people are leaving. The country ? Why is Trump so popular ? So don’t clench your teeth just yet, just be very concerned.
