This is one-sided.
The “assault” charge was dropped. He apparently agressively wagged his finger in the face of a woman. It was not settled.
The taxes issue. He rented his condo. He kept paying the same taxes that he always paid. Apparently his taxes went up during the two year rental period and he was not paying the DIFFERENCE between the old and new tax rate. When notified last year he paid the back tax with interest.

Assault charge was settled according court documents end of story
This is the most competitive race that Garrett has been in. He may lose. Nice to see him working to get the job.
I received a lot of mailings from Garrett. All negative attacks, nothing about his accomplishments.
What has he accomplished in congress? I can’t think of a thing.
the Bergen Record has not until recently covered Garrett at all Garrett is known as Dr NO , he is a consummate outsider in DC, voted against Obamacare (a total disaster), voted against the Iran deal ( worse yet), he has pushed much legislation aiding “crowdfunding”, he has fough aggressively against all “to big to fail” and “bailout nation” ie bail out banks ,that joshy G loves and why he has gotten so much money from Wall Street firms , Garrett is the only member of congress who read Dodd-Frank,an has continued to put forth legislation opposing many parts of it , the list is endless in banking and finanace if you search Scott Garrett on the Ridgewood blog much will come up ….
The Record my call him out, yet they still endorse Carpetbaggin’ Josh. No surprise there.
