The Controversial Documentary Film “Vitriol” will be shown at the Ridgewood Guild’s Annual International Film Festival on April 28th at 9:05 pm

Ridgewood NJ, Joseph Rullo, a former candidate for Governor in New Jersey has amassed a social media following of nearly half a million fans and is featured in a new controversial documentary film called “Vitriol” . Vitriol is a short documentary exploring vehement social media interactions from both sides of the political spectrum. The film was directed by Mark Clauburg and stars Joseph Rullo, Dr. Julie Ancis, Michael Caldarise, and Nina Kharoufeh.

The film exposes social media online anger and abuse, something Joseph Rullo and the Ridgewood blog are all too familiar with. Rullo has become a bit of a state-wide gadfly taking on both parties and the New Jersey political establishment .

In the film Rullo talks about facing online attacks from candidates, their campaign teams, and supporters of candidates that he has spoken out against in the past, something we also can relate with.
