“The MTR Fund – named for Mary Therese Rose Crilly – helps special needs children enjoy the same kind of joyful, active life that Mary enjoyed despite her limitations. Mary passed away just weeks before her fifth birthday from Joubert syndrome. Though Mary was profoundly disabled, her limitless love and courage inspired those closest to her to establish this fund in her name to pay for services (i.e.: therapies, orthotics, wheelchairs, walkers and similar type equipment) for children with disabilities whose parents cannot afford to provide the care their children desperately need.

The Mary Fund helps these special children reclaim some of the simple joys of childhood, denied
them by the disabilities that keep them from living life to its fullest.

As each child is able to enjoy the simple pleasures of childhood and life because of the fund, Mary’s beautiful smile spreads from face to face. It is these smiles that will forever keep Mary’s life a
celebration of love, joy, hope, simplicity and happiness.
