Ridgewood NJ, on November 7th the Village has to make some decisions as to the direction of the Ridgewood school system . The choice is clear either the residents opt for a school district run for the benefit of the teachers union and give over control of their children to the NJEA and their enforcers or residents put children and their education first .
The small board of education requires top notch leadership . The days of basking in the glory of the , “Tradition of Excellence” are long gone and it is time for residents to take responsibility for promoting a positive future for their children. Yes , public education is about kids , not turf fields, teachers, and administrators . The key word here is you “SERVE” on the Ridgewood Board of Education and who do you SERVE the students , parents and taxpayers .
Trustee Saurabh Dani is smart, well educated and hard working . Unfortunately he has been under attack by distractors along with fellow trustee Vice President Hyunju Kwak, in the most racist and bigoted terms. It is truly a disgrace and something no yard sign will fix . Worse yet we have seen a doubling down of the bigoted bullying in town and it is spreading, going from covert to overt.
Saurabh Dani maintains a healthy skepticism on fiscal and educational matters which is a key quality of leadership and the prime reason for the Ridgewood blogs endorsement. The second candidate is a gentlemen named Claude Guinchard of the “Parental Rights Alliance”, because parents should and do have the ultimate say on their child’s education PERIOD. While Mr. Guinchard has avoided the campaign limelight , we know him personally at the blog and in our opinion he is the only one running on both an intellectual and work ethic wise ,who will be able to keep up with Mr. Dani and Ms Kwak who are truly amazing in their diligence .

Some people are posting against Claude for his endorsement from moms for liberty, but they should meet this guy. He’s a genius. His only concern is parental notification for the new Murphy law. He has many gay friends and he’s not opposed to gays.
Claude can fix the finances of the district and he’s genuinely knowledgeable.
Need someone to have the strength to push back on murphy’s bs policies and be 100% transparent w parents. Anyone who thinks its ok for school admins/teachers to withhold info from parents about their 5,6,7 year old child is out of their minds

you don’t have to vote for the block. Jennings is a wonderful person. I really liked him as a person. For BOE policy, he lost my vote when he said he doesn’t want an older person to be teaching in our schools. He needs to do some more home work on our school specific issues, and then may be next time I can consider him. For now, I will go with Jame’s recommendation of DANI and GUINCHARD.

*resident since 1969*, no kids in schools (never had any in the system), im a RHS , GW and Willard graduate, still here in town funding the schools , subsidizing the liberals who have a lot more money than we do.
In the interest of of ‘fairness’ that all the libtards speak of when promoting their narrative, it would only be fair that the cost of the schools be paid for by those using them. Residents with no children in school should not have to pay the school portion of the real estate tax bill.

Guinchard is a millionaire who didn’t send his kids to public school or even live in the state of NJ till 2020. Now he wants to run Ridgewood’s public schools?
The only question he was actually prepared for in the candidate forum on Oct 18 was the one about “parents’ rights” and his answer was three well-prepared and rehearsed sentences of fear-mongering bullshit about trans kids.
Let’s not kid ourselves about what the Guinchards stand for. Vote for anyone else.
Stopping the profiteering medical industry from cutting of genitals and chemically castrating teenagers just because they are tom-boy girls or a little less masculine boys is the number one most important issue for public schools.
