Ridgewood NJ, the Ridgewood Christmas Tree arrived at East Ridgewood Avenue and Broad Street just before Thanksgiving. Check out the arrival video here https://youtu.be/LSoCZXispgc. Thank you to the Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce, Downes Tree Service, our Parks and Recreation Department and the Ridgewood Police Department for their collective efforts coordinating the safe delivery of the tree!
As we enter the holiday season, here are the upcoming events and dates to be aware of, in the Village of Ridgewood:
The Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Downtown for the Holidays –December 1 – 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. – East Ridgewood Avenue, from Maple Avenue to Broad Street – Come to the East Side, the West Side, and all around the Central Business District for this family friendly annual event, where the streets are closed to vehicles on East Ridgewood Avenue, creating a pedestrian plaza from North Maple Avenue to Broad Street. There will be Village Trucks on Holiday, from all Village Departments, decorated for the holiday season; make your own s’mores at the fire pits and enjoy festive activities and performances downtown. Take a picture at the Christmas tree, which will be lit at 6:30 p.m., located at the corner of East Ridgewood Avenue and Broad Street, so that you can remember this wonderful evening, as you enjoy the holiday spirit in Ridgewood’s Central Business District.
Such a waste of time, the tree is nice, but let’s find a tree that we can plant there instead of doing this every year
