the staff of the Ridgewood blog
Ridgewood NJ, For the first time, these Walsh, Hache and Voigt met a group together at the request of the RCAA.
In a warm and inviting gathering on Saturday, about 30 members of this organization came out to an establishment in Waldwick owned by Travell parent, Yongxi Ke, to meet and speak with these 3 candidates. The event was largely organized by a group of Travell parents including Yimin Zhou.
Many questions were answered including positions on Valley, and thoughts on how to combat or work with the high density housing issues.
It was stressed that these are independent voices, and independent candidates who are willing to work with residents, and each other, for the good of Ridgewood.
This is a very underrepresented community in our town, and it was amazing to see how much interest they have in this election.
A huge thank you to the hosts, and to the candidates for attending.
Walsh, Voigt and Hache signs all over town. Good job !
This is money well spent.
You have drive down Linwood towards Graydon all of Paulie’s neighbors have the Walsh, Voigt and Hache signs out…! He is surrounded by motivated neighbors…and hopefully voters too.
So basically the only people endorsing Brooks Willett and Weitz are Aronsohn, Pucciarelli and Hauck.
No one for,those three.
EVERYONE for HACHE. VOIGT. WALSH
Article in The Record shows Weitz to be an arrogant bastard. You would, think that he was one of the three amigos.
He pretends not to understand why people want his signs out of the planters in towm. He says that he got clarification of the parameters from the village and is waiting for a call from Susan Knudson to clarify why he should re,ove them.
Is he blind? Much has been written about this eyesore.
Here is is. The VOLUNTEERS who maintain the planters do so to beautify the downtown area. They would like you to get your signs out. You have a lot of nerve ignoring them. You do not respect their hard work.
And you should check with Paramus and Fair Lawn to see what their ordinances are. You are littering neighboring towns. I know it is hard to figure all this out, what with you being relatively new to this town and all.
This is really nice news! What really promising community building. I think this is great news to come out of this election.
What article in the Record?
7:19pm, their website 2020 claims that just in April alone they attended 20 meetings hosted by residents at their homes.
Mr Weitz is a horrible mix of Jim “I’m too busy to vote or attend meetings” Albano and Albert “I’m the only one on the Council with a full time job” Pucciarelli. With a smattering of the Council majority’s “The rules don’t apply to me”. Yea let’s vote for this guy.

I didn’t even know there was a Ridgewood Chinese American Association. I should tell my Mother in law. She needs Mah Jong buddies.
Anyway, in a rare occurrence, I agree with The Ridgewood Blog whole hardheartedly: please don’t vote these people in. The march of commerce and money is inevitable, and this town is going to grow no matter what we do. However, by opposing it, we will ensure that whatever growth occurs will be healthy and sustainable, as opposed to the credit fueled bubble that Weitz and his buddies want to buy into. Yes, we are deep in the middle of a massive credit bubble, as bad or worse than 2007. But that’s a story for another blog…
8:29, FWIW, the article was in the Ridgewood News, not the Bergen Record.
Sorry, got the article while visiting The Record website.
Who reads the Ridgewood News?
Why hold an event in Waldwick?
Mr. Carroll, record vs ridgewood news doesn’t change the fact that he is rude.
Hache and Voigt signs in the CBD…..guess they stopped caring already!! They haven’t even been elected yet and already ….wow….must be a record!!??
3:34pm don’t worry – we have picture of who planted those signs there. It will be released when the time is right (before the election).
So the Hache and Voight signs currently in the CBD were put there by Weitz/Brooks/Willet supporters? How very devious of them.
@3:34…they were not placed there by the Voigt or Hache campaigns,…coincidentally there have been reports of Voigt and Hache signs being stolen from lawns…
@8:35…and? That is not even a full weekend for Voigt. He is working it hard.
3:12 (Why in Waldwick?): the article says the restaurant is owned by a member of the group who is a Travell parent. Anyway, why not?
