Ridgewood NJ, The State of New Jersey requires all drinking water in our school facilities to be tested for lead during the 2016-2017 school year. The Ridgewood Public Schools are currently conducting those tests; the results of the schools we have received are listed below. We will post results within 24 hours of notification for the remaining schools.

Great that this lead and other testing was performed ,but June is last month of the school year..would it not have been better safer if this was done routinely prior to August school set up weeks.
Why would the parents, teachers ,workers students expect anything less.
It’s not that there are hundreds of public drinking fountains in each school
These routine tests can be performed by hundreds of local and county firms.
Maybe they we’re doing it for next year?

Noted but RIDGEWOOD Water is like liquid concrete..for years..
Why start testing water now..good looking ahead..but how much lead has already entered the systems of our students, athletes.workers and teachers at those fountains..?
