  1. Wasn’t there a spice store that recently closed in Ridgewood? Also, Village Tea Shop is literally around the corner. I wish this store success however I have to wonder how well thought out these business plans are. Why would you open a store when a similar one recently failed and why would you open a tea store around the corner from a tea shop. Scratching head….

  2. I am sure the prices are not cheap and highly priced. I’ll stick with McCormick’s thank you.

  4. Thanks for the shout out James. I am the owner of The Spice and Tea Exchange of Ridgewood, a resident and a local Travell mom! I hope everyone will stop in to see how unique our store is to other businesses in town. We are a specialty food retail store, not simply a tea shop/cafe (we have no seating). Our custom spice blends are actually the highlight of our store and you may catch us on occasion blending them right there in the store (if you are lucky enough to come when we blend our Florida Sunshine Salt Blend – pictured above- you will find the air filled with the aroma of freshly zested oranges, lemons and limes.) Come in to shop, grab a cup of tea to go or just talk to us about food in general. Hoping to add some experiences along the way including classes and events. Stay tuned.
