Ridgewood NJ, the Valley Hospital is proud to announce that it has been recognized by Newsweek on the list of America’s Best-In-State Hospitals 2024. This prestigious award is presented by Newsweek and Statista Inc.
The America’s Best-In-State Hospitals 2024 ranking was created to identify the top hospitals at the state level. Hospitals from all US states were eligible for ranking. The 25 states with the most hospitals according to the Center for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) were surveyed individually. The remaining states were grouped into 4 regions: Northeast, Midwest, West, and South. Leading hospitals from these states were considered accordingly. Four data sources were used for the evaluation:
- Nationwide online survey: Over 10,000 medical professionals (doctors, hospital managers and healthcare workers) were asked to recommend the best hospitals (in and out of state) based on their expertise.
- Quality Metrics Data: Data from Medicare and Medicare Services available for Mortality, Safety, Readmission, Experience, Timely & Effective Care was considered.
- Patient Experience: Cleanliness of the hospitals and quietness, communication of the nurses/doctors and staff responsiveness, care transition, medicine communication, and discharge information.
- PROMS Implementation survey: To account for the increasing importance of Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs).
“We are honored to be considered among the best hospitals in the state,” said Audrey Meyers, President and CEO of Valley Health System. “Valley is committed to providing high-quality care and service to our patients and their families, and to ensuring that all patients have access to our services. This recognition is a testament to the exceptional work of our doctors, nurses, and staff in delivering an exceptional patient experience.”

The new hospital is looking very nice, it’s too bad that the village is going to miss out on the extra opportunities regarding customers throughout the CBD. That’s why Paramus is gearing up for the extra traffic, shoppers, family members spending the day on In-N-Out surgery they will be shopping in Paramus, and free parking, think about that what a screwup again. And if you walk through Valley Hospital, which I have done in the past few days, you will notice that many things are wearing out and they’re not worried about it because next spring they’ll be in Paramus no need to spruce up the place. they’re not going to need it down the road don’t let anybody bullshit you. Any financial advisor will tell you why would they keep that big establishment especially when they have state of the art in Paramus. Think about that.
All the NIMBY’s who ran the hospital out of town will get their come uppance once the hospital it converted into low income housing. Audrey is out for revenge and it’s coming your way. See how that affects your property values.
Valley had everyone in town in their pocket and Ridgewood could not deliver
The envelop was not thick enough.
The Paramus facility is beautiful! Tremendous loss for Ridgewood.
