Ridgewood NJ, the Village of Ridgewood’s 2023 Operating and Capital Budgets were introduced on March 30, 2023. The Public Hearing and consideration for adoption of the budget will be held at a Special Public Meeting on April 27, 2023 at 7:30 p.m. in the Court Room of Ridgewood Village Hall. This will be broadcast live on the Village website Channel 34 on FiOS, and on YouTube. The public is invited to come in person to offer their comments on the 2023 budgets.
The regularly scheduled Village Council Meetings now have a hybrid format, with participants at remote locations, connecting to conferencing software provided by zoom.us or by telephone. Members of the public are invited to view meetings live using Zoom, which also allows them to “raise a hand” and contribute with voice and video when they are invited to do so during Public Comments, as well as during Public Hearings, during the meeting.

Enjoy that 4.5 percent tax hike. The current council majority had a huge problem with a 3 percent increase during Covid, someone should remind them and then ask why 4.5 is no problem.

It’s going to be more than 4.5 we have school tax and state and county.

Maybe the mayor and council can get Dpw to fill in the potholes, and sweep the streets.
